Ayia Thekla is a half hour drive from the airport and just 10 minutes drive to the popular resort of Ayia Napa, with its golden sandy beaches and crystal blue waters. Other attractions including the famous Water World Theme Park just 10 minutes away. The villa also benefits from being just 2 minutes walk from the beach with its rock pools.

Ayia Thekla also has 2 supermarkets:

• a mini market—just across the road from the villa—which sells newspapers, milk, etc. and is open 7 days a week from 8am 'til 10pm;
• a larger supermarket—about 2 minutes by car from the villa—which is also open 7 days a week, from 7.30am 'til 9.30pm.

A car is recommended to tour around the island to visit the beaches, churches and towns/villages.
